DEPTH-ORIENTED TRAUMA PSYCHOTHERAPY FOR INTUITIVE, HIGHLY SENSITIVE Souls

Offering depth-oriented psychotherapy in Colorado and holistic coaching worldwide.

Do not cringe and make yourself small if you are called the black sheep, the maverick, the lone wolf. Those with slow seeing say that a noncomformist is a blight on society. But it has been proven over the centuries, that being different means standing at the edge, that one is practically guaranteed to make an original contribution, a useful and stunning contribution to her culture.

Therapy Beyond theSurface

Many of my clients arrive here after years of holding everything together on their own. Some know exactly what their trauma was and how it shaped them. Others believed their childhood was fine, yet lived with a quiet sense that something never fully settled. They are often capable, insightful, highly sensitive, and deeply attuned to others, yet have learned to survive without ever feeling truly safe, met, or at home within themselves.

For many, the trauma was not one defining event, but the quiet and ongoing absence of emotional safety, attunement, or protection. Much of this was registered unconsciously, before there was language to understand or name it. Experiences such as emotional neglect, inconsistent caregiving, chronic overwhelm, or having to grow up too soon can shape an unconscious sense of danger, self-reliance, or vigilance within the nervous system. In psychology, this is often understood as relational or complex trauma. It forms slowly over time and influences how you experience yourself, your relationships, and the world around you.

As adults, this may show up in ways that feel confusing or heavy. Persistent anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, chronic self-doubt, or a constant sense of bracing are common. Many also carry a long-standing feeling of not quite belonging, of being on the outside of connection even when relationships are present. People often move through life appearing “fine,” while internally responding from unconscious expectations shaped early on. These patterns are not character flaws. They are intelligent survival responses from a nervous system that adapted before there was choice, safety, or support.

In depth-oriented psychotherapy, experience is understood as meaningful even when it cannot yet be explained. Emotions, bodily sensations, images, dreams, and intuitive knowing are treated as primary ways the psyche and unconscious communicate. Therapy becomes a space where these ways of knowing are welcomed and explored with care, nuance, and psychological rigor, while remaining closely attuned to nervous system safety.

As a licensed depth psychotherapist and Integrative Depth Psychology PhD student, I offer trauma-informed, integrative depth psychotherapy for adults healing relational and developmental trauma, including complex trauma. My work focuses on gently unwinding survival patterns while supporting reconnection with the Self you have longed to inhabit, including the aspects of you that communicate through intuition, emotion, imagery, dreams, and felt experience. My approach integrates Jungian, psychodynamic, archetypal, and nervous-system-oriented therapies to support deep, lasting change grounded in both clinical skill and relational attunement.

Depth-oriented trauma therapy is a compassionate and conscious process of re-membering, bringing back what was dismissed, silenced, or fragmented in order to survive. In this work, your story is met with care, your emotions with attunement, and your nervous system with respect. Over time, many clients experience steadier self-worth, clearer boundaries, more secure relationships, and a growing sense of inner grounding, aliveness, and belonging within themselves and the outer world.

If you are seeking support in healing relational or complex trauma, including C-PTSD, and are drawn to a holistic, integrative, and spiritually attuned approach to psychotherapy that remains firmly grounded in clinical skill, this work may be a meaningful fit.

I’d be honored to support you and walk with you through this journey!

TESTIMONIALS

Depth-Oriented Psychotherapy

Our inner lives are shaped by unconscious processes long before we have words to understand them. How your nervous system responds day to day, how you show up in relationships, the stories you carry about yourself, and your overall sense of wellbeing are often shaped by experiences that were registered quietly and early, outside of conscious awareness.

Depth-oriented psychotherapy is an invitation to gently turn toward these unconscious patterns with curiosity and care. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, this work supports you in going beneath the surface to understand why certain patterns formed and what they have been protecting. Therapy becomes a space to listen to the psyche through emotion, bodily sensation, images, dreams, intuition, and symbolic meaning, all within a trauma-informed and psychologically grounded framework.

In our work together, we explore how mind, body, emotions, and relational history interact over time. Drawing from integrative psychodynamic and Jungian depth psychology, this approach attends to unconscious patterns, early relational experiences, and nervous system responses that continue to influence how you experience yourself and others. This process often increases your capacity to be with a fuller range of emotions and internal experiences with greater steadiness and self-compassion.

This journey supports you in more deeply embracing who you truly are, letting go of identities shaped by survival rather than choice, and cultivating a greater sense of meaning and belonging in your life. I specialize in working with intuitive and highly sensitive adults who have experienced relational or complex trauma, including C-PTSD, and who are navigating long-standing challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulty trusting themselves, and a persistent feeling of being different, on the outside, or like the “black sheep.”

Holistic + Intuitive Guidance

Holistic Guidance offers an integrative depth-informed approach for individuals seeking greater clarity, alignment, and meaning in their lives. Rooted in presence, attunement, and compassionate inquiry, this work invites a slower and more intentional relationship with your inner experience so that insight can translate into conscious choice and embodied action.

These sessions are relational, reflective, and experiential. Together, we create space to pause, explore what is currently alive for you, and notice patterns of perception, motivation, and response that shape how you engage with yourself and the world. Rather than analyzing or fixing, the focus is on cultivating awareness, perspective, and flexibility, allowing new ways of relating to emerge organically.

This work draws from contemplative, depth psychological, archetypal and somatic-oriented traditions that support attunement to the body, emotions, values, and intuitive knowing. Integrative practices may include reflective dialogue, embodied inquiry, symbolic exploration, myth and story, the Enneagram, and occasional use of archetypal tools such as tarot or oracle cards. These practices are used as supports for meaning-making and self-understanding.

Through this holistic guifance process, space is created to meet inner experience with curiosity, clarity, and respect. The emphasis is on integration and alignment, supporting purposeful action, meaningful self-understanding, and a more embodied, intentional way of living.

Holistic Guidance services are available worldwide.
